Tim grew up in north Mississippi, helping his father with his piano business. He began as an apprentice at the age of 15 and has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of piano technology. Tim relocated to Northern Virginia in the mid 1980's and worked for some of the major piano dealers in the Washington, D.C. area. In the mid 1990's, Tim opened a piano restoration shop in Northern Virginia specializing in vintage piano restorations. During this time, he was able to acquire a more in depth knowledge of piano sales management while performing major piano restorations and tunings for customers and piano dealers. Although Tim is not associated directly with any piano retailer, he can help you decide on the piano that best fits your needs.
